Struggling

I have reached the 25K mark with A Thousand Words... and my writing is starting to flag.

Though I love the story, getting the every day detail down is wearing and I wonder if people are actually going to read all the "filler" or just skip to the next smutty part. I know that it's easier to read 1K than it is to write it but... seriously, it's like giving birth to an elephant right now.

On top of that, waiting for an answer to something is revealing that I am mentally ill-equipped to be an author. I'm checking my email account every other hour and fretting. I have no fingernails.

Worst thing is, this is not even an official submission - how bad am I going to be when I'm subbing actual novels to actual agents? Geez.
